Guidelines for Abstract and poster presentation

Poster Layout

1. 1. Maximum poster size:1.5m (height) x 1m (width)
2. 2. Content displayed in the poster must be presented under the following sections:

For Original Research: Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results including tables and figures, Discussion, Conclusion, Recommendations (if any), Acknowledgments, and References (if essential).

For Case report: Introduction, Case presentation including figures, Discussion, Acknowledgments and References (If essential)

3. 3.Use font type Arial, in the following font sizes (minimum) and styles:
   • Poster title : 60 Bold
   • Author’s name : 40 Bold
   • Sub–headings : 44 Bold
   • Main (body) text : 40 Regular
   • References (If essential) : 28 Regular
4. 4. Use bullet points to highlight the main points where applicable. Avoid using long sentences and paragraphs (as in regular prose)
5. 5. 10 minutes (7 minutes for presentation & 3 minutes for discussion) for a poster presentation.

Evaluation Criteria

The chairperson of the session will evaluate each presentation on the following basis:

• Content
• Presentation Skill
• Discussion
• Time management
• Design and layout of the poster

Poster display duration: Your poster will be displayed on 27 April 2023 during the event.

Poster display number: We will notify you of the number assigned to your poster prior to the date of the meeting. Please ensure that your poster is on the correct board that indicates your poster number.

Display of poster: Posters need to be on display between 7:30  and 15:00 hours on the day of the event.

Poster dismantling: Posters will be removed immediately after the conclusion of the scientific meeting by the Research Division.

Abstract

Submission of an abstract of not more than 300 words that summarizes the principal points of the study. The abstract should not contain references, figures, or tables. It should be structured under the following headings: Title, objectives, methods, results, conclusions, and 5-8 keywords.
Use font type Arial, in the following font sizes (minimum) and styles:

• Title: 12 Bold
• Author’s name: 11 Bold Skill
• Sub–headings: 11 Bold
• Main (body) text: 10 Regular

Submit your abstract and a softcopy of the poster on the registration link available on the website during the period of 6th -16th  April 2023.
