Abiola Senok is Professor of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases and Chair of the Department of Basic Medical Sciences, College of Medicine, Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine & Health Sciences, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). She is a member of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Academy of Scientists, UAE. Her research interests include antimicrobial resistance, microbial pathogenicity, microbiome studies and infection prevention & control. She has also worked on investigating the use of saliva as alternative specimen for COVID-19 testing. She has co-authored over 100 publications and contributed to the understanding of antibiotic resistance evolution in the Arabian Gulf region. She is a member of the UAE National Sub-Committee for Antimicrobial Resistance Surveillance, National Immunization Technical Advisory Group and is General Secretary, Emirates Society for Clinical Microbiology. Abiola is Senior Editor, Journal of Infection in Developing Countries and Academic Editor PLoS Neglected Tropical Diseases

Prof. Bazigha is currently serving as a Professor and Head of the Pharmaceutics Department, at Dubai Pharmacy College, Dubai, UAE.
She has done her Master's and Doctorate degrees in Pharmaceutics at the College of Pharmacy- University of Baghdad, Baghdad, Iraq with high research output in the area of peptides-loaded nanoparticulate delivery systems.
Prof. Bazigha's primary research interest is in the area of advanced drug delivery systems (DDSs) and drug targeting besides pharmaceutical formulation and dosage form design. In the area of DDSs, her work has involved the formulation and evaluation of innovative nanoparticles, microparticulate and vesicular drug carriers for drug targeting to specific biological sites and to improve the pharmacokinetics and bioavailability of drugs and consequently their therapeutic effectiveness and patients’ compliance. She published book chapters and more than 50 research articles in indexed and peer-reviewed journals in the fields of pharmaceutics, pharmacy education, and pharmacy practice.

Prof. Bazigha is recognized as one of the Top 2000 Scientists, AD Scientific Indexing in the United Arab Emirates 2023 (H index 16; Local Ranking 879) and 2022 (H index 15; Local Ranking 992). She was also granted the Excellence in Research Award at the 2nd Forum for “Women in Research”, 2021 by Sharjah University, UAE. She was nominated for Venus International Women Awards 2016, 2017, and 2022 in India. Nomination Code: F. No. 319 / VIWA 2016. In addition, she was a Who’s Who in the World, America’s Biography 23rd Ed., 2015. 

The outstanding research productivity of Prof. Bazigha has established her as a member of the editorial board and a reviewer for several international scientific pharmaceutical journals and as a keynote speaker, chairperson, organizer, and scientific evaluator in highly reputed international conferences in the field of pharmacy and drug manufacturing.

Prof. Bazigha has more than 20 years of teaching experience in pharmaceutics at both graduate and postgraduate levels. furthermore, she supervised many of the graduate students for their master's thesis as well as undergraduate students for their graduate research projects.
Due to her long and fruitful experience in the academic field, she occupied several academic and administrative positions such as Head of the Examination & Evaluation Unit, Head of the Professional Training Unit, Head of Laboratory & Safety, Head of Research & Faculty Development, Member of Research Evaluation Committee, Member of Program Review & Assessment Committee and Member of Internal Audit and Quality Assurance Unite.

Prof. Godfred is currently working as Professor and Chairperson at the Medical Microbiology & Immunology department, RAK college of Medical Sciences (RAKCOMS), RAK Medical & Health Sciences University (RAKMHSU). Dr. Godfred has a PhD in Medical Microbiology from JIPMER, Pondicherry. He has worked in Institutes such as Erasmus MC, The Netherlands; JIPMER, India; Ha’il University, Saudi Arabia; SBMCH, India; NMCH, India & SSRMC, Mauritius. He has more than 60 research publications in reputed journals to his credit. His research area includes antimicrobial resistance, diagnostic microbiology, natural therapeutic agents, wound healing & human genetics. He is a chair/ co-chair of various Institutional and National Committees. He is a Chairperson, Scientific Committee, Emirates Society for Medical Microbiology (ESCM). He is in the editorial board of several reputed journals.

Prof. Hafiz Ahmad earned his Ph.D. in 2014 from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. He obtained his Doctoral Fellowship in 2009 from the prestigious National Institute of Health (NIH) in Bethesda in the USA, and his Post-Doctoral Molecular Training from 2012 to 2016 from Abbott Laboratories, Germany.

He is a Co-chair of the UAE National Antibiotic Stewardship Committee, Co-chair for the RAK Hospital ASP Committee, and a scientific committee representative of the Emirates Society of Clinical Microbiologists for the UAE. He has extensive experience in clinical microbiology and infectious diseases working on HIV mutations, phylogenetic analysis at NIH to COVID-19 research.

He has won several national and international awards such as Best Paper Awards, ICMR Travel Grant, Hamdan Young Scientist Award in 2016 along with top tier research funding for research on “STI’s & Infertility in UAE” from Zayed Foundation.

Dr. Hafiz is an Associate Professor of Microbiology for undergraduate MBBS and BDS at RAK Medical and Health Sciences University (RAKMHSU) since 2016. He has attended over 80 regional and international conferences and has been leading more than 35 scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Hafiz is a certified Internal Auditor & QMS Trainer for ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and an expert in molecular infectious diseases.

Maha Ayman Mohamed Abdelmageed, She is currently working as Lecturer of Pathology, Biomedical Sciences Department at Dubai Medical College for Girls.
Graduated with MBBCH, Excellent with honours and Fifth on the batch, from College of Medicine in Sohag University, Sohag, Egypt.
She earned her Master’s Degree of Pathology from College of Medicine in Sohag University, Sohag, Egypt.
She is Current follower of the JMHPE, from Suez Canal University & Maastricht University.
And a current follower of Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath).

Dr. Maha worked previously as Pathology resident and Teaching Assistant then Assistant Lecturer in, Pathology Department, College of Medicine in Sohag University and Hospital, Sohag, Egypt.

Research interests: Cancer, Cytopathology, Metabolic disorders.

Prof. Michael E. Otim is a Ph.D. holder in Public Health specializing in Health-Economics from the University of Melbourne, Melbourne, Australia. Dr. Michael's teaching involves areas of health economics, research methods, biostatistics, and epidemiology. 
His research focuses on public health (setting benchmarks by estimating the current prevalence of non-communicable diseases and assessing the cost-effectiveness of these interventions), and resource allocation. It also involves health economics and decision-making. He is engaged in collaborative work with several universities in Australia (Queensland University of Technology (QUT)), UAE, and Uganda (Nexus International University (NIU)), Kampala. 

He submitted a grant application to the Australian National Research Funding Agency for a postdoctoral fellowship. He won a post-doctoral fellowship of nearly $500,000 to fund his research and his salary in that stiff competitive process. He did his postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Sydney, Australia. 

He was also involved in the assessment of the National Singapore Tobacco Control program. this involved assessing cost effectiveness of tobacco control interventions.

Later he chose to take a faculty position as a Senior Lecturer at the Australian Catholic University (ACU) where he headed the Public Health Discipline in the Satellite Campus in North Sydney, Australia.  His specialties include: Public Health, Health care Marketing; Health Economics, Healthcare Financing, Healthcare Management.  Research Interests: Health Economics, Economic evaluation, Priority setting, Financing Healthcare, Public Health, and Costing of interventions.  

Prof. Naglaa Gamil Shehab is a Professor in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacotherapeutics Department, Dubai Pharmacy College for Girls, Dubai, UAE as well as is a Professor in Pharmacognosy Department, Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University, Egypt.

Prof. Naglaa had received her bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 1991, her master’s degree in Pharmacognosy in 1999 and the PhD degree in 2004 from Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University, Egypt and has been promoted to Professor from two Places, Dubai Pharmacy College for Girls, 2015, and Faculty of Pharmacy Cairo University, Egypt in 2018. She has experience more than 30 years in teaching. She is a hard worker person as she becomes heads of many units and committee in both colleges, Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University and Dubai Pharmacy College including, Head of Admission Committee, head of student’s affairs, head of curriculum, head of faculty development and Research unit, member in examination unit, member in ethical research committee, head of faculty promotion and finally Chief Academic Officer in Dubai Pharmacy College for Girls. She is a member in American society of Pharmacognosy and she holds certifications for the nutrition and health. She introduces a new course in Dubai Pharmacy College that not present in other Arabic Countries including UAE, named Natural Medicines, safety and Efficacy which focus on drug herb interaction and the quality control of the supplement. She has background in community training, industrial training, and hospital training as she is a chief academic officer that allows her to communicate with all the training heads in Dubai Pharmacy College.

Dr. Naglaa got the best research award three times from Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Amsterdam, Netherland in the Natural Products field. She has been chosen of top two thousand scientific in United Arab Emirates.

She is a reviewer for many international natural products Journals and has published at least forty scientific papers in impact factor journal. She continuously develops her professional career by attending many workshops, seminars, webinars, and conferences in the field of education.

Rasha Eldeeb is an eminent Physiologist and Medical education expert with a strong background. Dr. Eldeeb graduated from the Faculty of Medicine Cairo University, MBBCh, MSc., MD, she holds double degrees in Healthcare Professions Education; DHPE, MHPE, and a degree in Total Quality Management for Health Reform. Dr, Eldeeb is passionate about the different teaching and assessment modalities in medical education and is an active Member of the Curriculum Committee and is actively involved in curriculum transformation. Dr. Rasha Eldeeb is currently the Associate Dean of Research and Graduate Studies at Dubai Medical college for girls (DMCG). Been an active researcher for the past years, in the field of Physiology and, Health professions education She is an internationally recognized speaker and has been instrumental in developing ground-breaking Research uplift at DMCG.

Prof. Rania Hamed Shalaby is Assistant Professor of pharmacology, Biomedical sciences Department, Dubai Medical College for Girls, Dubai, UAE
Dr. Rania was graduated from Faculty of Medicine Tanta University, Egypt. She Finished her Ph.D. in 2016. Then She joined Dubai medical college for girls, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She had a group of publications in several reputed journals. She teaches pharmacology. She is interested in animal, metabolic syndrome and neuroscience research. She is interested in Health professional Education.

Prof. Samia Farghaly is a family physician with over 40 years of experience in the field and currently holds the position of Professor in Clinical Division, PHC, Dubai Medical College for Girls. 
During her career path, she has contributed to the development of the Family Medicine Residency Program through tutoring full time in Gulf University, Bahrain and in Dubai, UAE Since 2004. 

In 2007, she held the position of Coordinator of Academic Department Associate Professor.  Following this, she deployed her capabilities in the department of PHC in 2008 as Professor and Head of Academic department.  In 2016, she developed her career in the academic field and held a post of Full-Time professor in DMCG. 

Samia is an accredited international Examiner from MRCGP International, RCGP UK, in Dubai since 2005 to date. She also has attained a Diploma in Psychology in 1992 from Ireland.  She attained a master’s degree in Family Medicine in 1983 from the American University of Beirut.  Samia holds a Bachelor of Medicine (MBBCH) degree from Alexandria University, Egypt.  

Prof. Naglaa Raafat is a professor of biochemistry at Dubai Medical College. She received MBBCH from Ain shams university, Egypt in 1992 and was awarded a Ph.D. degree in 2003 in medical biochemistry and molecular biology. She was appointed as assistant professor of biochemistry at Dubai Medical College in 2004, then received tenure as a professor in 2016. Naglaa’s research interest focuses on a variety of diagnostic biomarkers such as enzymes, proteins, and single nucleotide polymorphisms in malignant tumors, diabetes, hypertension, metabolic syndrome, nephrotoxicity, and hepatotoxicity.
