Internet Gaming Disorder: An Emerging Public Health Crisis

A scientific lecture was held by Dr Sahar AbdelMaqsoud ; Associate Professor of Public Health ; Dubai Medical College for Girls followed by fruitful discussion at Preventive Medicine Department; Sharjah;  on 6th of November 2019. A need for early detection of affected children followed by referral to Psychiatrist was one of the important recommendations. Prevention now become crucial after WHO include Internet Gaming Disorder  in ICD 11.
