DMCG Joins Latifa Hospital in Celebrating World Prematurity Day

DMCG's final year medical students proudly participated in the World Prematurity Day event hosted by Latifa Hospital, Dubai Health. 

The event commenced with an inspiring inauguration ceremony led by Dr. Abdulla Al Khayat, CEO of Al Jalila Children’s Hospital, Dr. Mohamed Al Awadhi, COO of Al Jalila Children’s Hospital and Dr. Muna Tahlak, CMO at Dubai Health followed by a touching performance of the UAE National Anthem by a young boy who was born prematurely. The program continued with an informative and interactive poster presentation session delivered by our final year medical students. The posters highlighted key topics such as family care, environmental support, and the future of premature babies, while emphasizing the importance of this day to all attendees. 

The activity concluded with a heartwarming moment as parents shared their personal stories about raising premature babies, creating an emotional and inspiring atmosphere.
