DMU at the Emirati Medical Education Conference 2025: Pioneering the Future of AI in Medical Education

Dubai Medical University (DMU) proudly participated in the Emirati Medical Education Conference 2025, by NIHS and UAEU,showcasing its commitment to innovation and excellence in healthcare education.

Dr. Shifan Khanday, AI & Smart Education Unit Head and Associate Dean of Research at DMU, represented the university as a distinguished speaker and panelist in the session on AI in Innovative Teaching in Medical Education. During the event, Dr. Khanday introduced the groundbreaking concept of the Digital Twin Model, a transformative approach that leverages AI-driven simulations and virtual replicas of instructors and healthcare environments to enhance personalized learning and assessment in medical education.

Speaking on the panel, Dr. Khanday emphasized how the Digital Twin Model can revolutionize hybrid technology for clinical training, teaching and learning , and student competency assessment, ensuring data-driven, adaptive learning experiences for future healthcare professionals.
