Glaucoma Awareness Poster Competition - Apollo Clinic

Dubai Medical College for Girls had the wonderful opportunity to take part in the Glaucoma Awareness Week Campaign, hosted by Apollo Clinic Karama.
During this week, Apollo Clinic provided free screening for more than 1500 patients. The students of the DMCG contributed more than 40 entries to promote awareness about eye care and the prevention and treatment of glaucoma. Out of these, 20 posters were selected to be displayed in the exhibition throughout the week and top two winners were annouced on 18th March'2023.

Congratulations to Raabeah Jafri and Namra Jafri for securing the first place, and Yusra Jamil and Iraj Fatima for securing the second place.

The Community Engagement Unit of DMCG would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Srilekha pallamparthy Reddy, Opthalmologist Doctor at Apollo Clinic and the entire team of Apollo Clinic.Thank you for collaborating with us to spread awareness about Glaucoma.

The CEU would also like to thank all the poster supervisors - Dr. Rania Hamed, Dr. Maha Ayman, Dr. Iman Abdeen, Dr. Amina Begum, Dr. Sarah Safwat, Dr. Afrah Ghayoor, Dr. Aasiya Beevi & Dr. Ayesha Nasratullah for assisting and guiding the students during the competition.
